Meet the Man Behind Granbury’s Favorite Handyman: A Dad, A Dreamer, and a Happy & Humble Dude

Hey Granbury 👋
I’m Aaron Nolan—aka The Honey Do Daddy—and this ain’t your average “about me” blog.
You see, I thought I did everything right.
-I built a professional handyman brand from scratch,
-designed a killer superhero logo,
-hit #1 on Google for the best handyman in Granbury,
-and even matched my work truck magnet with my uniform. (Thanks to my superhero wife.)
But I forgot one crucial step:
To tell y’all who I am.
So, let’s fix that.
🛠️ From Tools to Tears: How It All Began

I’m a dad with 7 amazing kids living at home. Yep, you read that right—SEVEN. But before I became part of this beautifully blended tribe, I was a single dad raising 4 for 5 years.
During that time, I started a handyman business in Arizona called The Honey Do Dude. I was determined to show my kids that hard work + heart = anything is possible.
But I’ll be honest...Running the business, doing the work, answering phones, sending invoices, and being the only parent—with free daycare but no food stamps—was soul-crushing.
I was exhausted. And even worse... I felt like I was never really there for my kids.
So, I made the toughest call a dad can make—I let go of the dream. I went back to being an electrician. Steady hours. Steady paycheck. Still working for "The Man".
💌 Then Came Melody… and Miracles

Fast-forward 5 years—and in walks Melody, my high school crush, now a single mom raising 3 herself.
We rekindled something real, and this time...we didn’t let go.
It’s a movement.
With her by my side, I finally resurrected my dream—this time with more clarity, more family, and way more love.
We launched The Honey Do Daddy because fixing stuff and being a daddy are the two things I love most in this world. (Besides God and my Wife, of course)
💜 Built with Heart, Not Just Hammers
For the past 6 months, we’ve poured everything we’ve got into this.
I studied color psychology to choose just the right purple and yellow.
Melody designed my uniforms and helped brand our family truck.
We wrote blogs, perfected our SEO, and hustled until we ranked #1 on Google for “Granbury Handyman”.
But here's the funny thing...
No amount of SEO can replace a real connection. People don’t just want a guy who ranks—they want a guy they know. Someone local. Someone trusted. Someone who’s been through stuff and still shows up swinging that hammer like Excalibur.
🌪️ From Chaos to Community
I’ve failed. I’ve fallen. I’ve faced empty fridges, crying toddlers, and the kind of loneliness only single parents truly understand.
But I’ve also gotten back up. And I’ve built a life—a business—on those very scars.
Today, I don’t just show up to fix your leaky faucet. I show up with gratitude, hustle, and a deep respect for what families go through—because I’ve lived it.
📣 So Here’s My Invitation, Granbury…

Hire me if you want things done right.
Call me if you need help around the house.
Message me if you just want to say hi or cheer us on.
But most of all, know me.
Know I’m not a chain, not a gimmick, not a robot behind a screen.
I’m your neighbor.
I’m your handyman.
I’m your fellow Gamburyan who happens to believe in the power of doing things with heart.
